Your kind of love

Jesus you are love,

Love that embraced the cross,

Love that suffered and died,

Love that rose to give resurrection life.

Jesus you are Love,

Love that raises the dead.

Love that soothes the wounded.

Love that brings comfort,

Love that calls a sinner back to righteousness:

So much love for you and me.

J esus we want some of that love, your kind of love.

Only you can touch our hearts Lord.

And make it like yours.

So that we too can hold in our hearts –the wounded

The broken hearted ,the prisoners.

Jesus help us to forgive and set free

Those who hurt us and cause us pain.

Help us Jesus, to love one another, family, friend neighbour.

With your love ,

With your compassion ,

With your tenderness.
