Catholic Charismatic Renewal – A New Breeze of Hope is Blowing into the Church- Archbishop Julian Leow

KUALA LUMPUR.  The Peninsula Malaysia Service Team (PMST) of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) met on 10 October 2014 at the KL Archdiocesan Pastoral Centre. During the meeting, both Archbishop Julian Leow and Bishop Sebastian Francis encouraged the respective Diocesan Service Teams and their prayer groups to focus on Mission & Evangelization.
All upcoming programs, seminars or formations organized by the Diocesan Service Teams must be focused on the preparation for mission and missionary lives that is anchored towards Christ and Mother Mary hand in hand to ensure the CCR bodies in Peninsular Malaysia moves in a direction which is aligned with the pastoral initiatives and plans of the Peninsular Malaysia Church.
As the Peninsular Malaysia Church is gearing towards the next Peninsular Malaysia Pastoral Convention (PMPC-IV) in the year 2016 and as part of the faith formation and spiritual preparations for the PMPC, Bishop Sebastian encouraged the respective Diocesan Service Teams to carry on doing the relevant CCR programs for the parishioners including Spiritual Leadership formation programs, Life in the Spirit Seminars (LSS), Growth in the Spirit Seminars (GSS) whilst also taking the necessary initiatives to strengthen the parish prayers groups which are the root base of the CCR.
Most Rev Archbishop Julian Leow concluded by affirming that the CCR has been a catalyst of faith in Peninsula Malaysia and gave his blessing for the CCR to continue the good work that they had been doing over the years.
